The Company occupies its own modern freehold premises in Park Village Wolverhampton WV10 9DS
Eutectic Alloy Casting was formed in 1979 by Tony Babington who is still the managing director and is currently responsible for die design and technical liaison with customers. He started his working life as a trainee with the Midland Research Company in Brierleyhill and qualified as a metallurgist in 1969. During the last four decades Tony Babington has designed many hundreds of gravity dies for industries throughout the UK. Eutectic Alloy Castings started by produces aluminium castings for outboard engines and the motor cycle industry and progressed to make gravity die casting in aluminium and zinc alloys for the lighting sectors including pressure tight flame proof enclosure allied to the mining, oil and gas industries. The majority of lights on the UK roads use castings made in our foundry.
SERVICES
Eutectic Alloy Casting are expert in the production and design of gravity dies and Aluminium / Zinc diecastings from 20 Kg down to 20 grams. Our expertise and our commitment to automation enable us to make detailed castings at prices competitive with pressure diecastings with tooling costs considerably reduced. We can machine castings to customer requirements and mechanical properties of all castings we produce can be improved by our heat treatment services. Castings can be powder coated to customer specifications.
QUALITY
Eutectic Alloy Castings produces an audit trail that allows us to trace every casting ever produced by the company from its inception which includes the date made, specification ,delivery note/invoice and even the name of the individual who made them.
The Company currently has a turnover of circa £1,000,000 which last year comprised of over 450,000 castings, of these only 2 were returned as faulty from customers, an enviable record by any standards
